I think I'll finally update...

So, I'm procrastinating from cleaning up my room, so I decided to finally update this thing...

Joey & I are leading a trip to Thailand in July....YOU should come with us....especially if YOU are a GUY (we are in desperate need of those!)

thailand world map

How could you tell these faces that you don't want to come and serve them and tell them about the love of Jesus???

We did it!

Kristine and I got our noses pierced today!  It was a good bonding time.  I had it done a few years ago, but had to take it out b/c of my job, and I have been wanting to get it done again since this summer.  So, I decided to use some Christmas money I got to get it done!

On another note, I was spending the night with the Hammers last night, and I got a little glimpse at the joys of parenthood...  after a 7am dance party in the kitchen, I went to the room to spend time with the Lord, and Annie (who is 2) came in and got up on the bed with me.  I put one of my earphones in her ear and she started singing "No Sweeter Name" with me.  It was a really sweet moment.

too much driving

I'm definitely driving too much this week.  I drove all the way to Houston and back yesterday.  It was worth it though b/c I helped a friend who needed a ride and I got to have dinner with Joey.  Now I have to drive all the way to Corpus Christi and back on Saturday b/c my great grandpa died yesterday and the funeral is then.  I hope my poor little car can hold up to this much driving in one week.  I hope that it is warmer on Saturday b/c I don't have a heater in my car.  Also, pray for my back to make it, b/c it was killing me after being in the car for 7 hours yesterday.

ugghh...

It's not fair... I'm sick 2 times in one week with the same stomach stuff.    I haven't thrown up this much in a long time.  I just had the most miserable trip home from Oklahoma!

On another note, if I'm feeling bettter and anyone is in Belton and wants to hang out tomorrow, give me a call.

Yay God!!!

Praise the Lord!  All $135,000 came in for the new building for church!  Yay!  I have an office now and don't have to work out of my apartment anymore!  (Well, you know, after we get utilities and all...)  I'm really excited!  It's so good seeing the faithfulness of the Lord as we trust Him with our finances!
